Chandigarh, 16 May- The Punjab government has decided to start single file system in all departments. Acting on the directions of the Chief Minister Mr. Parkash Singh Badal various departments has been asked to submit their suggestions regarding implementation of single file system.
According to the spokesperson of the Administrative Reforms Department, Punjab has instructed the various departments to send their suggestions regarding this within a week by all means.
The Spokesperson further said that government has taken this important step to remove all unnecessary hindrances and time wastage in the way of file clearance process. In the present scenario people in a traditional way submits different files in various departments for single work. Due to this people get harassed and frustrated due to wastage of time. He added that single file system will help in bringing efficiency in file clearances.
