· 3309 PROMOTIONS HAVE BEEN DONE SO FAR: MALUKA
CHANDIGARH, MAY 18: The Punjab government today promoted 381 teachers as Punjabi Lecturers with immediate effect.
Disclosing this here today, Mr. Sikander Singh Maluka, Minister for Education, Punjab said that including this 381 promotions of Punjabi Lecturer, 3309 promotions of teacher of different subjects, have been done so far. He said that the Punjab Government has constituted Teacher Recruitment Board and now, no post in school left vacant. Mr. Maluka said that the Punjab Government dedicated this year to education and we are committed to increase the education standard manifold and exemplar in education scenarios.
He said that he has personally taken up this exercise of promoting eligible employees timely to check the stagnation besides to boost the morale of employees. He said that postings of all these newly promoted lecturers would be made in a transparent manner.
