Jammu: President of J&K Amateur Kabaddi Association Mr. Anil Gupta (Anu) that all the State Kabaddi Players in Boys and Girls section are advised to registered with the J&K Amateur Kabaddi Association as per the decision of Amateur Kabaddi Federation of India. Those players of the state who will not registered with J&K Amateur Kabaddi Association will not be allowed to participate in District, State, North Zone, All India Tournament, Sub-Junior, Junior and Senior Nationals, Beach and Circle Style have already sent the circulars to all the affiliated District units/Deptt. of the State to registered the players with the State Association. The eligibility of the players are as under:-
Senior National Kabaddi Championship
The eligibility for participation in Senior National the maximum weight for men are below 80 kgs and women below 70 kgs.
Junior National Kabaddi Championship
The eligibility for participation in Junior National the maximum weight and age for boys are below 60 kgs and age below 19 years and girls below 50 kgs and age below 17 years.
Sub-Junior National Kabaddi Championship
The eligibility for participation in Sub-Junior National the maximum weight and age for boys are below 51 kgs and age below 16 years and girls below 45 kgs and age below 14 years. The players participating in the Sub-Junior and Junior National must produce the Original Certificate/Mark sheet of the Board examination of VII standard SSC/HSC/CBSE or Original Birth Certificate from the institution as age proof before participation in the Selection-Cum-Trial will be conducted by the association before participation in the Nationals. The Random dope test will also be conducted during the National Kabaddi Championships.
Further Mr. Kuldeep Kumar Gupta General Secretary J&K Amateur Kabaddi Association said all State Kabaddi Players will be registered from 25th May to 30th June 2012 before participation in the coming Nationals of current year but the application for registration of players fresh/renewal/NOC will be entertained on or before 30th June 2012.
