WORLD NO TOBACCO DAY: Smoking in public places is an offence yet the smokers puff away with impunity endangering not only their own lives but also the lives of their near and dear ones around them. 80% of the cancers are caused by use of tobacco, cigarette, bidi, hukka, pan masala, gutka etc. Sahayta had organised a poster making competition to highlight the harmful affects of tobacco . The response has been overwhelming. the posters were adjudged by Mrs Balvinder Kaur, Chief Architect, Punjab, Mr Pallav Mukerjee, Architect and Mr Bhim Malhotra, a renowned artist on 28May.
