Amritsar, May 31 ( Bharatsandesh news )- About 63 students of Master of Business Administration of the Guru Nanak Dev University have been placed in different companies through campus placements which was held recently at the University Campus.
According to Dr. Hardeep Singh, Director Placements Axis Bank selected 32 students, HDFC Bank selected 16 students, SBI Life Insurance selected 6 students, Oriental Bank of Commerce selected 6 students, Reliance Retail selected 2 students and Khanna Paper Mills selected 2 students. He said that these students will join their duties in June 2012 immediately after their final exams.
He said that about 586 students who will pass out in June 2012 have been offered jobs by different National and Multinational companies through campus placements. He said that the selected students belong to all the three campuses of the Guru Nanak Dev University i.e. Jalandhar, Gurdaspur and Amritsar and from Amardeep Singh Shergill Memorial College, Mukandpur.
He said that in near future more companies have confirmed their visit to recruit the students of the University.
Dr. Singh said that the many students of 2013 Batch are undergoing 6-week training in many reputed companies like Eon Electric, Hyper Retail, DLF Pramerica, Religare, Golden Green etc.
