PEOPLE’S MANDATE IN FAVOUR OF DEVELOPMENT AND ADMINISTRATIVE REFORMS
AMRITSAR, JUNE 11: Mr. Bikram Singh Majithia, President Youth Akali Dal and Revenue and Public Relations Minister, Punjab, today extending thanks and appreciation to the people of Punjab for historic victory of ruling SAD-BJP alliance in the Municipal Corporations and Nagar Council elections said that with the unprecedented triumph of Akali-BJP alliance, The decimation of congress party has begun from the political map of Punjab.
Declaring it a colossal defeat of Congress Party, Mr. Majithia said that the people of state have given mandate in favour of development vision and people friendly policies of SAD-BJP alliance. He said that the people of state are now fully aware about their own and interests of Punjab. He said that they have realized that the only SAD-BJP combine could safeguard their interests and welfare besides putting Punjab on the accelerated pace of growth and prosperity.
Mr. Majithia said that one after the other defeat of Congress Party in Vidhan Sabha and MC Polls respectively would eliminate this anti-people party from the political map of Punjab. Lambasting at the deflecting strategies of Congress Party in center, Mr. Majithia said that with the consecutive results in the recently held polls in 4 Municipal Corporations, 3 Municipal Councils and 26 Nagar Panchayats in the state has reflected that the Congress is heading towards hattrick of defeats in 2014 as the people of state has brushed aside it by reposing faith in the ongoing development in the state. He asserted that after the results of 2014 Parliament elections the congress would be completely collapsed in the Punjab.
Mr. Majithia said that it was very tough time for PPCC Chief Captain Amarinder Singh to accept massive defeat of Congress in his own Royal City Patiala but it was people’s mandate, which the congress would have to face. The Minister also thanked Chief Minister Mr. Parkash Singh Badal and Deputy Chief Minister Mr. Sukhbir Singh Badal for fair and flawless elections conducted in Punjab. Appreciating the hard work done by the workers of Youth Akali Dal, Mr. Majithia said that the day and night hard work of youth workers can not be ignored, who punctually deliver their duty to propagate the development vision of SAD-BJP alliance among the masses.
