Jammu: President of Jammu and Kashmir Amateur Kabaddi Association Mr. Anil Gupta (Anu) told that the District activities of Kabaddi will be conducted by the affiliated units in different district before the participation of State Team in the coming Nationals for the year 2012. the District Championship will be conducted strictly in accordance with the rules of Amateur Kabaddi Federation of India and if any district will fail to conduct the district Championship for the year 2012 no player of that district will participate in the National without participation in the district as well as State Championship.
The State Kabaddi Championship in Boys and Girls Section will be conducted in Junior Section at Srinagar in the month of October 2012 wherein all the above districts shall take part in the said Championship.
Further Mr. Gupta said that All the districts will registered all its players in each categories i.e. Sub-Junior, Junior & Senior before 30th June 2012. the registered players can only participate in the coming Nationals of the year.
The State Kabaddi Championship for the year 2012 in Junior Wing in Boys and Girls section will be conducted by Pulwama District Kabaddi Association under the banner of J&K Amateur Kabaddi Association. The detail circular of District Activities and already been circulated to all affiliated units/Districts of J&K Amateur Kabaddi Association.
Mr. Kuldeep Gupta, General Secretary of the Association also appeal to all the Budding, talented and youngster players of Kabadd of Districts/Tehsil/Blocks level to participate in the district championship, so that they will get a chance to perform for selection in the trial/coaching camp for selection in J&K State Kabaddi Teams in different categories under the banner of J&K Amateur Kabaddi Association.

Moreover Mr. Kuldeep said that the associaton has decided to conduct Lala Sudhagar Shah Memorial Kabaddi Championship from 8th to 10th August 2012, T-20 Sher-e-Kashmir Kabaddi Gold Cup from 23rd to 25th August 2012, Lal Hans Raj Mahajan Kabaddi Championship from 27th to 29th August 2012, T-20 Ram Sahai Kabaddi Gold Cup from 5th to 7th Sept. 2012, Ashok Sodhi Memorial Kabaddi Championship from 22nd to 24th Sept. 2012 and Junior State Kabaddi Championship will be conducted in the last week of Oct. 2012 at Bakshi Stadium, Sriangar (Kashmir)
Mr. Gupta further said the association has also recently conducting a Summer Coaching Camp at Green Field Gandhi Nagar and Kabaddi Field M.A. Stadium, Jammu for different categories i.e. Sub-Junior under age 16 years and weight upto 50 kgs., Junior under age 20 years and weight upto 65 kgs. & Senior under weight upto 80 kgs. From 8th June to 29th June 2012 for the promotion and development of Kabaddi Game in each nook and corner of the state and youngsters in boys and girls section has been trained with latest techniques in Kabaddi Game by the Qualified NIS Kabaddi Coaches namely Mr. Ajay Gutpa, Mr. Ankush Gupta, Mr. Anil Sharma & Mr. Sanjeet Kumar alongwith Senior Players of the Kabaddi Game during the Summer Kabaddi Coaching Camp.
