CHANDIGARH, June 13: Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee President Capt Amarinder Singh today condoled the death of gazal king Mehdi Hassan.
In a statement he said, Mehdi Hassan’s death was a great loss to the entire sub-continent as he was loved by everybody in India and Pakistan.
He said, the void created by Mehdi Hassan’s death will be difficult to be filled. He said, Mehdi Hassan was the maestro who had achieved all the heights of musical excellence.
