Ludhiana-26-June, 2012: Guru Angad Dev Veterinary and Animal Sciences University (GADVASU), Ludhiana is going to conduct the Common Entrance Test (CET) – GADVASU on 27th June, 2012. The main centre of examination will be R.S. Model Senior Secondary School, Shastri Nagar, Near Model Town, Ludhiana and the other center is in the College of Veterinary Science, GADVASU, Ludhiana. Dr. P.D. Juyal ,Registrar GADVASU informed that to expedite the process, the roll number-cum-admit cards have been dispatched to all the candidates. All the arrangements for the examination have been completed and a large number of faculty members and employees have been deputed to conduct the examination smoothly. Dr. S.Prabhakar, Controller of Examinations has told that a total of 1880 candidates are expected to appear in the entrance test. The number of applicants to different courses being offered by GADVASU has increased as compared to the last year due to increasing interest in the courses in Veterinary Science, Dairy and Fishery Sciences.
Dr. V.K. Taneja, Vice-Chancellor, has extended best wishes to the all aspiring students appearing in CET-GADVASU. The date of first counseling for B.V.Sc & A.H. and B.F.Sc will be 17th July, 2012 while for B.Tech (Dairy Technology) will be 18th July, 2012 and shall be held in the Silver Jubilee Auditorium of the College of Veterinary Science.
