Chandigarh, July 2: The Punjab Government has issued strict instructions that ex-post facto permission should only be sought on those matters which were really emergent and matter was in the preview of Cabinet.
According to an official spokesman all ex-officio decisions have to be implemented after seeking prior permission of Chief Minister and these decisions have to be got approved from the Cabinet within one month positively. The spokesman said that these instructions have been issued as it was observed that there was undue delay in seeking approval of Cabinet in such decisions.
