CHANDIGARH, JULY 2: The Punjab Government today dismissed Mr. Tejinderpal Singh, Librarian for his prolong absence from the duty. Disclosing this here today, an official spokesman of Higher Education Department said that Mr. Tejinderpal Singh was absent from his duty since 1st April, 1996. He further said that Mr. Tejinderpal neither submit the reply of the charge sheet nor present before the inquiry officer. He said that a public notice was also got published in the newspapers. Despite all these efforts, Mr. Tejinderpal Singh failed to pose himself before the inquiry committee. Subsequently, he was dismissed.
