CHANDIGARH, AUGUST 14:The Punjab Government has started the recruitment process for 8 thousand teachers across the state.
Talking to the Press today, Education Minister Punjab Mr Sikander Singh Maluka said that Punjab Government has committed to provide education to every child, to meet this target Government has already demanded the data of vacant posts in the schools . He said that to ensure the 100 percent attendance of teachers in schools, Education Department has made checking teams which would randomly check the presence of teachers in their schools besides checking the admission record of schools. He said that it has been found that some teachers had shown bogus admissions in their schools to save their postings, which would be dealt with strictness. These teams would also check the quality of Mid Day meal.
He also said that a strict action would be taken against the teachers having bad results. He said that orders has been issued to all higher officials to make sure that no teacher should take part in the political activities weather he or she belongs to a political family of higher department official.
