Amritsar, August 20(Bharatsandesh news):With a view to sensitize the students about the rising evil of gender discrimination, a program, `Female Feticide: A Monstrous Problem’ was organized at Khalsa College of Education (KCE), Ranjit Avenue today. The students exhibited the prevalent `love for boy’ syndrome in our society and how the girls are killed in the womb. They presented poems, skits, dance items, play and even a quiz competition to highlight the menace. Principal of the College, Dr. Surinderpal Kaur Dhillon appreciated the talent of the students and how the vitals clues on the problems were highlighted and she hoped that one day the society will get rid of the problems of female feticide.
