Amritsar, August 20 ( Bharatsandesh news ) –The students of Khalsa College for Women (KCW) today exhibited their talents during an in-house competition `Sajre Phull’, organized at campus. KCW Principal Dr. Sukhbir Kaur Mahal inaugurated the function by lighting lamp and program began with Sikh martial art, ‘Gatka’ by girl students, followed by skit, dance, singing and classical dance. The new students and teachers were given warm welcome. The fresher presented folk dance ‘Giddha’. Harmanpreet of BA-I got First, Monika and Rupinder got Second and Komal and Paramjeet got Third position in Singing. In Group-Dance, Rashmeet & group stood First and Ekta & group got Second position. Dr. Mahal gave away prizes to winners and students honoured her and judges of the events Dr. Asha and Mrs. Satinder Pukhraj. Coordinator of the program Dr. Jatinder Kaur thanked audience and Principal for their presence.
