For the first time in the region, Ludhiana College of Engineering and Technology conducted one of its own kind Training Fair on 24 August 2012 for seventh semester engineering students. This mega event provided huge options to the students regarding their mandatory 6 months industrial training.
Free registration on the spot started at 10:00 am in which eligible and meritorious students from B.Tech-Electronics & Communication, Computer Science, Information Technology, Mechanical Engineering and automobile engineering registered themselves for various companies/training institutes at LCET campus.
Under the aegis of the Training & Placement (T&P) Cell various companies/training institutes which conducted their selection process at LCET Training Fair on 24 August 2012 are Dream Tech Labs, Pingaksho Technologies,TechnoCampus, Allsoft Solutions and services Pvt. Ltd, IQBri Telecom Private Limited, Rawelcom Group, Infowiz, Triniti Center for Learning, Innovative Project Solutions, Prolific Systems & Technologies (P) Ltd, Soft Solutions, Dkop Labs Private Limited, Sebiz Infotech Ltd., Edukart.Com, Industrial Automation Training Centre, 3cm Infotech, Netmax Technologies Pvt. Ltd, Beta Soft Systems Pvt. Ltd, Gtech Softwares, Webcom Enterpreneurship Development Inc., Drish Infotech Limited, CS Group (CS Infotech), Compued, Bhasin Informatics Research And Development Org and many others.
The dignitaries from industry appreciated the hospitality arrangements and cherished the teamwork done by LCET faculty and staff members for organizing this mega event.
LCET Chairman, Mr. Vijay Gupta, MD Mr. Brijpal Sachdeva, Director, Dr. J.S. Sohal and Principal, Dr. Pawan Kumar appreciated the efforts of the faculty and heartily thanked the officials of the companies, TPOs, faculty and press for their co-operation and support to make this event a success and hoped for strengthening these ties in coming times for the welfare of students, institutes and industry.
