Amritsar, December 11 ( Bharatsandesh news )– Dr. Rajesh Kalia of Conduct Branch of the Guru Nanak Dev University has been unanimously as elected President of Guru Nanak Dev University Officer’s Association for the year 2013.
Returning Officer, Prof. Jaspal Singh from the Law Department of the University said that the result has been notified after the completion of procedural formalities. Similarly, he said that Mr. Mokesh Sharma, Vice President from Engineering Department, Mr. Tirath Singh, Secretary from Computer Department, Mr. Piara Singh, Joint Secretary from Colleges Branch and Ms. Renu Puri, Treasurer from Meeting Branch have been unanimously elected.
He said that six other executive members includes Dr. Jagjit Kaur from Youth Welfare Department, Dr. Pawan Kumar from Health Center, Mr. Sukhwnder Singh Roshan from Registration Branch, Mr. Sham Mohan from Examination Branch-I, Mr. Naresh Nandan from Bhai Gurdas Library and Mr. Sarabjit Singh from Establishment Branch.
On the occasion, Dr. Rajesh Kalia thanked all the officers for reposing faith in him for second time consecutively and enjoined the officers to up grade their skills and be prepared for successful implementation of ERP solutions vide which the whole administrative work is going to be computerized. He also urged the Vice-chancellor, Prof. Ajaib Singh Brar to accept the genuine demands of Officers, so that, they could continue to work for the development of University in a positive frame-work.
