INDIAN MEN KABADDI TEAM STORMS INTO SEMI FINAL

MALAYSIAN WOMEN TEAM ENTERS IN SEMIS TOPPING THE POOL
·       IN MEN CATEGORY INDIA CRUSHED DENMARK WITH THE MARGIN OF 73-28 POINTS DIFFERENCE
·       ENGLAND DEFEATED AFGHANISTAN BY SCORING 64 POINTS AGAINST 21 OF THE LATTER
·       IN WOMEN SECTION MALAYSIA OUT CLASSED TURKMENISTAN WITH THE MARGIN OF 39-29 POINTS
MANSA/CHANDIGARH, DECEMBER 11:Performing as per the expectations host Indian men team enters into the semi final crushing Denmark with a huge margin of 73-28 point difference. On the other hand fresher Malaysian women team surprised everybody by topping the pool and storms in to the semi final in a dignified manner by beating Turkmenistan with the point difference of 39-29. England in men section got a respectful departure today by beating Afghanistan with 64-21 points.
With the game of three league matches at Nehru Memorial Government College Stadium of Mansa today the convoy of league matches came to an end. Now the stage has set for the semi final, which are scheduled to play at Bathinda on 12.12.12. Mr. Sukhbir Singh Badal Deputy Chief Minister, Punjab participated in the last gathering for the league match here at Mansa as a chief guest whereas Mr. Sikander Singh Maluka, Education Minister Mr. Balwinder Singh Bhundar, Member Parliament, Mr. Pawan Kumar Tinnu, Chief Parliamentary Secretary. Mr. Prem Mittal and Mr. Chitan Singh Samao (both MLAs) were the guest of honour.
In its last league match India defeated Denmark with massive margin of 73-28 points. At the end of 1st half India was leading with 35-16 points. Indian raiders Baram Singh, Manminder Sran and Sukhbir Sarwan earned 13, 11 and 11 points respectively whereas its stopper Eakam Hathur, Gurpreet Gopi Manaki, Narinder Ram Bittu Dugal bagged 6, 5 and 5 points respectively. Denmark Major Singh and Loverthy Lundbery got 5 point each.
            In women category the match between Malaysia and Turkmenistan earned much applaud from the spectators. Malaysia defeated Turkmenistan with the margin of 39-29 points. Malaysia’s raiders Manpreet Kaur, Paramjit Kaur and Jaswinder Kaur got 9, 7 and 7 points respectively whereas its stoppers Mandeep Kaur and Rekha bagged 5 and 4 points respectively. Turkmenistan’s raider Suleymanogal Margue got 7 points whereas its stopper Lvova Yevgeniy bagged 6 points.
             In another match of men category England crushed Afghanistan with huge margin of 64-21 points. At the end of 1st half England team was leading by 34-8 point difference. England’s raiders Jaskaran Singh, Gurdev Singh, Inderjit Singh and Rajvir Singh scored 10, 10, 9 and 8 points respectively whereas its stopper Jagtar Singh and Gurpreet Singh got 10 and 8 points respectively. Afghan raider Naseer Ahmed and Saifulla Emini got 7 and 8 points respectively whereas its stopper Parvez Shakijada and Saifula got single point only.
