The Governing Council of the Chandigarh Press Club today passed a resolution expressing serious concern over the attack on a senior journalist at Hisar. Mr. Rakesh Kranti, Chief Reporter, Dainik Bhaskar from Hisar, Haryana, has been manhandled by some miscreants on Sunday, December 16, 2012. Mr. Kranti was seriously injured and has been admitted in a local hospital. The Governing Council requests Mr. Bhupinder Singh Hooda, CM, Haryana to look into the matter personally and instruct the concerned Police Officials to arrest the culprits immediately so that the morality of the journalist fraternity remain high.
