Chandigarh Health And Wellness Association (CHAWA) held a successful 2nd Beat the Pro charity golf tournament

Chandigarh Health And Wellness Association (CHAWA) held a successful 2nd Beat
the Pro charity golf tournament sponsored by Callaway and
HDFC Bank ,at the Chandigarh Golf Club today, due to bad weather an indoor
putting competition was held.
Over 46 golfers participated in the tournament. This tournament was held to
raise resources for increasing the awareness in surrounding areas, and also
helping in diagnosis and treatment of poor and needy patients with
Rheumatological Diseases in general and Systemic Vasculitides in particular
at PGIMER.

M. Gurinderjit Singh Sandhu, IAS, inaugurated the tournament.

Jeev Milkha Singh participated in the tournament and gave an opportunity to
those taking part to beat his putt in the competition.

The following were the prize winners of the Beat the Pro Charity
Golf Tournament.

The prizes were given away by Jeev Milkha Singh.
Speaking at the occasion Jeev Milkha Singh said that it was very important
to give back to the needy . He praised the PGIMER and its Doctors for their contribution to
the ailing society of the region.

Mr. Sandeep Singh Sandhu, Captain Chandigarh Golf Club, thanked the guests for their contribution and promised support to the this noble cause in the future from the Chandigarh Golf Club.

Jagdeep Singh Cheema, President (CHAWA), said that nothing happens without
the Grace of Almighty and CHAWA was committed to serving the poor and
needy. Future efforts will be continued to be made to raise
resources he said. The organization already has patients in his fold which they are supporting vehemently.

J. S. Jatana, General Secretary and Hargobind S Gill, Vice-President CHAWA welcomed the guests and hoped that they will give CHAWA their continuous support.

Sukhjit Dhiman, Treasurer CHAWA, thanked the Chandigarh Golf Club for hosting
the event and also thanked the sponsors of the tournament and the participants.
