Chandigarh, 14 March :– The State Election Commission has issued instructions regarding the strict compliance of the Modal Code of Conduct enforced for general election of Nagar Panchayat, Talwara (Hoshiarpur), scheduled for March 17, 2013.
Disclosing this here today, an official spokesperson of the Punjab Government said that instructions for the prevention of misuse of official vehicles during the election code and instructions regarding the ban of payment out of discretionary grants/funds and new projects have already been issued. The spokesperson further said that all the departments and administrative heads of the Punjab Government have been instructed to comply with these instructions.
