Haji Syed Salman Chishty son of Late S.M.Usman Chishty and the present custodian of the holy shrine of Khawaja Moinuddin Chishty at Ajmer (Rajasthan) today paid obeisance at GoldenTemple. Ajmer is one of the biggest Sufi centers of World after Mecca. Haji Syed Salman Chisty upon his first visit to Golden Temple was welcomed and accompanied inAmritsar by the activists of Akhil Bhartiya Human Rights Organization (ABHRO) under the guidance of Secretary General H.S. Tanwar alongwith Raj Kumar Khosla, Rajan Babbar, Kuldip Singh, Jagtar Singh and Kumar Soni.Sufis and Chistias have close relations with Sikhs as their sacred hymns have been added into Adi Granth by the sixth Guru Himself. Chistias are the descendants of Baba Farid. Whereas when Sikhs bow before Adi Granth they also bow before those Sufis whose hymns are present in Guru Granth.Haji Syed Salman Chishty is born and raised among the family of Chishty Sufi Community of Ajmer Sharif who are the hereditary custodian of the 11th century Sufi Shrine of Hazrat Khawaja Moinuddin Hasan Chishty. His family has been serving at the Dargah Ajmer Sharif from last 800 years as the Keys of the blessed Sufi Shrine has been passed on from generation to generation.He is engaged in a research studies on World Sufi Traditions and their impact on different countries and their culture and traditions and vice-versa.The greatest principle of Sufism is « Ishq Allah, Ma’bud Allah » (God is love, lover and beloved)Sufism is rightly been called the spirit of Islam, as well as the pure essence of all religions and philosophies. Many Sufi saints have attained what is known as God-consciousness, which is the most all-inclusive realization of the meaning of the word « good » attainable by man. Sufis have in many cases are known to have realized and shown the greatest perfection in humanity and creating harmony among the human civilizations.Haji Salman said after visiting the Sikh Mecca,“Love towards all ,Malice towards none” is the basic message of Khawaja Gharib Nawaz . Its a universal message for the whole of humanity that we may love and respect the best of creations i.e Human beings among all the creations of the One n Almighty Creator .
