Fateh Jung Singh demands to make public list of SAD leaders in drug trade

Flays SAD-BJP for promoting casino culture in Punjab
Chandigarh. May 30 (Bharatsandesh news)- PPCC general secretary Mr. Fateh Jung Singh Bajwa today flayed SAD-BJP government for promoting casino culture in Punjab which is already riddled with the drug menace. He also demanded to make public the names of Akali Dal leaders allegedly helping the drug mafia, as submitted by former DGP(Jails) Mr.Shashi Kant to the state government.
In a statement issued here Mr. Bajwa said that online lottery and setting up of race courses in state would spoil the youth. He said that online lottery was banned by former Congress government after the reports that people were committing suicide after losing their hard earned money in the online lottery. He said that it would be bane for youth and the poor who may be lured to become rich overnight.
Mr.Bajwa refuted the statement of Chief Parliamentary Secretary Mr.Virsa Singh Valtoha in which he has blamed the center government for supply of drugs to Punjab from across the border. He said that if Mr.Valtoha was aware of points from where drugs are smuggled he shall inform the authorities. He alleged that leaders of ruling SAD-BJP alliance were involved in smuggling and sale of drugs. He said that former Punjab Police DGP(Jails) Mr. Shashi Kant had submitted a list of political leaders who are part of the drug mafia. He demanded from Chief Minister to make public the names mentioned in the list. He asked Mr.Valtoha he holds important position in the government and what is the reason 50 percent of drug smuggling and illegal mining was taking place in his constituency of Khemkaran.
Mr.Bajwa said that Congress support the anti-drug campaign by Mr.Shashi Kant and said that Congress President Mr.Partap Singh Bajwa had already announced to start a state wide agitation against SAD-BJP government for spreading drug menace and shielding illegal mining. He said that ministers of SAD-BJP government were involved in misuse of funds of central grants. He said that latest book scam in the education department was a big shame. The Education minister Mr.Sikandar Singh Maluka didn’t think even once before misusing funds meant for books to school children.
Mr.Bajwa demanded CBI inquiry into the book scam and asked the education minister to resign on moral grounds. He said that inquiry inti the scam by a retired judge A.K.Jindal was mere an eyewash. He said that family relations of Justice Jindal with Mr.Maluka are known to each and everyone.
