Amritsar, June 4 ( Bharatsandesh news )-Keeping in view the International Standard Shooting Range and performance in sports of the Guru Nanak Dev University, AIU has assigned the responsibility to field Indian University Shooting (M&W) team who would participate in the World University Games to be held at Kazan (Russia).
Dr. H.S. Randhawa, Deputy Director Sports & Head said that accordingly, the selection trials shall be conducted on June 5, 2013 (Wednesday) at 8.00 am in the University Campus Shooting Range. He said that the coaching camp of the selected players shall start from June 18, 2013. He said that this trained team shall participate in World University Games which would commence from July 6 to 17, 2013 at Kazan (Russia).
