Amritsar , June 27 (Bharatsandesh news ) Dr Charanjit Singh Gumtala, patron, Amritsar Vikas Manch has welcome the investigation of the assault of Director general of school education (DGSE), Punjab, S Kahan Singh Pannu, by the chief minster but appealed to S Parkash Singh Badal to hand over the case to the hon’ble Chief Justice of Punjab and Haryana High court which should enquire this case on the same lines as of Coalgate scam by hon’ble Supreme Court .In Coalgate scam CBI is directly answerable to Supreme Court and there is no political interference . Mr Ashwani Kumar had to resign as law minister due to alleged role of vetting the report of CBI in that case. CM described Pannu as “one of our finest officers.” CM told the association members of IAS, “I have been deeply and personally anguished over the incident. The government regards the incident as an act of extreme provocation, requiring prompt and effective government response,” S.Kahan Singh Pannu says attack was pre-planned. So it is a serious matter and there may be involvement of politicians .To check political interference it should not be investigated by Punjab Govt.
