registered in all the employment offices across the state, CLP will
then mount pressure on the govt by raising the issue with the
permission of the Speaker in Vidhan Sabha. The party will urge the
govt to remove bans on recruitment in all its departments, boards,
corporations and aided educational institutions. All the Congress
legislatures are being requested to launch the unemployment youth
registration campaign in their respective constituency.
CLP leader assured hundreds of youths that pressure would be mounted on the SAD BJP alliance govt to fulfill the election promise by sanctioning Rs 1000 as monthly allowance for each unemployed youth. The govt will also be urged to sanction Rs 225 to each matriculate handicapped, Rs 150 to general category youth, Rs 600 to each graduate handicapped and Rs 200 to other categories of graduates under the provisions of the notification issued by the Labour and Employment Generation and Training Department, Punjab under the EducatedUnemployed Personnel Act 1978.
