Guru Angad Dev Veterinary and Animal Sciences University (GADVASU) conducted its second counselling for filling the vacant seats of B.V.Sc. & A.H/B.F.Sc and B. Tech. (Dairy Technology) on August 19 and 20 respectively for the session 2013-14. All the seats have been filled except some reserved seats. Now these 7 vacant seats of various categories for B.V.Sc. & A.H/B.F.Sc programmes and 1 vacant seat of B.Tech. (Dairy Technology) will be filled on the last/third counselling to be conducted on 09.09.02013. GADVASU Registrar, Dr. P.D. Juyal informed that as per prospectus, unfilled seats from reserved categories will be offered to the candidates competing on open merit if no candidate is available for respective categories. Final status of College-wise/category-wise vacant seats will be available on 08.09.2013 on the university website www.gadvasu.in.
To meet the human resources requirement in the field of para-veterinary, GADVASU started Diploma in Veterinary Science and Animal Health Technology, a 2-year course, in 2010 at Veterinary Polytechnic, Kaljharani (Bathinda). Last date for receipt of application forms was July 8, 2013 and merit list for the same will be available on the university website www.gadvasu.in on 23.08.2013. The counselling for admission to Diploma in Veterinary Science and Animal Health Technology is scheduled on 26.08.2013.
