Scholar Fields Public School Patiala celebrated Janamashtmi with great zeal and enthusiasm. A special session to narrate the episodes of Lord Krishna’s life was held in the morning assembly in which various scenes like, ‘Makhan Chori’, ‘Krishana-Sudama Milan’, Goverdhan pooja and Raasleela were explained to the students. Tiny tots dressed as Krishna, Sudama, Radha, Gopis , Gawalas and fairies set the festive mood alive by their scintillating performances. A competition of Haandi Beautification was held among different houses of school. Raman house won the first prize and Tagore house second prize. Handi breaking ceremony was also organized in the school premises in which the students of higher classes participated. The students were advised to inculcate the teachings of Lord Krishna in their lives. The function concluded with distribution of sweets among the students.
