`Parkash Utsav’ celebrated with religious fervour at Khalsa College

The 411th `Parkash Utsav’; the first installation of Guru Granth Sahib, was celebrated with religious fervor and devotion at Khalsa College campus. The students of Khalsa College for Women recited the kirtan at the Gurdwara complex where the management members, principals, teachers, staff members and students took part in the religious program.
Khalsa College Governing Council (KCGC) honourary secretary Rajinder Mohan Singh Chhina along with Principal Dr. JS Dhillon bestowed Siropas upon students performing Kirtan. He said at the occasion that Guru Granth Sahib’s message is so relevant in the strife torn world today where the humanity is taking the back seat. He appealed the people to imbibe the teaching of the Granth on peaceful co-existence and welfare of the mankind.
KCGC joint secretaries Additional Honorary Secretary S. Shawinder Singh Kathunagal, SS Mannan, Gurmohinder Singh, Principal KCW Dr.Sukhbir Kaur Mahal, SK Dhillon, Principal Dr.Amarpal Singh, Principal Dr. Jaspal Singh members of teaching community and students were present in large number.
